Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an account, build a site, or publish through UltraSites, operated by Intrepide. By signing up you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

If you do not accept these terms, do not publish through the platform.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team members publish. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

One person or organisation, one account. Creating accounts in bulk to work around limits on the service is a breach of these terms.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, write, or generate through the platform — your copy, images, branding and the site itself. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us the licence needed to actually run the service: to store your content, to process it (including sending it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy) so the editor can work on it, and to serve it publicly when you choose to publish. That licence exists only to operate the service and ends when you delete the content.

You can export your site at any time. We do not hold your work hostage to keep you subscribed.

One thing to know before you publish: a published site is always open to search engines and to the crawlers that gather material for AI answer engines, and there is no per-site setting to opt out of either. That is deliberate — being found is the point of the product — but it means anything you publish is readable by them. If you do not want something read, do not publish it.

Your site can collect personal data from the people who visit it — form submissions, bookings, and the analytics we run so you can see how the site performs. That data is yours, and in law you are its controller: we hold and process it on your instructions.

What that means in practice is that the obligations to those visitors are yours. Telling them what you collect, running a consent banner if your audience needs one, answering their requests to see or delete their data, and deciding whether to forward their details to an advertising platform are all your decisions, not ours. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we collect on your behalf, how long we hold it, and what leaves the platform, so you can describe it accurately to your own visitors.

You agree not to use the platform to collect data you have no right to collect, and to keep whatever consent your own laws require.

The platform can import and rebuild an existing website. You may use it on sites you own, or where you have permission from the owner. You may also take design inspiration from any site — layout and visual approach are not what this clause restricts.

What you may not do is reproduce someone else's site in order to pass yourself off as them, to collect their customers' credentials or payments, or to republish their copyrighted text and images wholesale. The difference is whether a visitor is being deceived about who they are dealing with.

Free and paid sites publish on shared subdomains. Content that search engines and browsers distrust damages every other customer on that domain, which is why this list is enforced on all plans equally. You may not publish:

• Sexual content involving minors. This is removed immediately, the account is terminated, and it is reported to the appropriate authority.
• Phishing or credential harvesting — pages imitating another brand to collect logins or payment details.
• Malware, or pages that deliver it.
• Financial fraud and scams, including fake storefronts that take payment without fulfilling, advance-fee schemes, and fake investment offers.
• Promotion of, or recruitment for, terrorism or organised violence.
• Pornographic content and escort advertising. This is lawful content we decline to host on shared subdomains.
• Hate speech targeting a protected characteristic, and sustained harassment of an identifiable person.
• Illegal goods and services — controlled substances, weapons sold around regulation, forged documents, stolen data or credentials.
• Impersonation of another business, person, or government body without authorisation.
• Search manipulation — doorway pages, cloaking, link farms, scraped-content aggregation, and keyword stuffing at scale.
• Wholesale reproduction of material you do not hold the rights to.
• Unlicensed medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional, and miracle-cure claims.

Parts of the platform are built to act on their own, and you should know what that means before you switch them on.

• SEO fixes. Where the automatic lane is on, we scan your site, fix what we can, and publish the corrected version without asking each time. You choose the cadence, you can require approval before anything reaches the live site, and you can turn the lane off entirely.
• Blog automation. Where you schedule it, the platform writes and publishes posts to your blog on your behalf. We email you when it does.
• Translations, where you add a language, and the serve-time corrections that fix small technical faults as a page is served.

Everything automation does is versioned. You can see what changed, and you can restore an earlier version of the site.

The UltraSites bar. On the free plan and on the lower paid plans, we add a bar to the top of your published pages identifying the site as an UltraSite and linking back to us. It is added as the page is served, so it is not part of your content and cannot be removed by editing the site. It is the price of those plans; plans that include removing it say so. Apart from that bar, we do not put our own content, advertising or links on your site.

The work is done by AI, which means it can be wrong. Review what it publishes. You remain responsible for what your site says, whether you wrote it or the platform did.

We screen published content automatically. Automated screening flags content for a person to look at — it does not take your site down on its own.

Where content appears to breach section 6, a reviewer confirms it before anything happens. For most categories we tell you what we found and give you a window to correct it. For phishing, malware, fraud and violent extremism we remove first, because there is no version of those that becomes acceptable after editing.

Removal means your site stops being served publicly. It does not mean your work is deleted — your draft, your content and your data remain in your account, and you can export them. Repeated breaches, or any confirmed case in the urgent categories, end the account.

If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notice we send and a person will review it.

To report content on a site we host, or to make an intellectual-property claim, email abuse@ultrasites.ai. For an IP claim, tell us what work is being infringed, the address of the page, and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder. We remove material on a complete notice and tell the site owner what was removed so they can respond.

We work to keep the service and the sites it serves available, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. We will give reasonable notice of planned work that affects published sites.

There is a free plan. You do not need a card to build a site, and we will not stop you creating one.

Subscriptions. Paid plans bill in advance for the period you choose and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. Subscription fees are not refundable for the unused remainder of a period, except where the law requires it or where we have clearly failed to provide the service.

AI allowance and credits. Each plan includes a monthly allowance for the AI features. If you need more, you can buy credit on top. Credit raises your ceiling for the billing period it is bought in and does not carry over to the next one. Your plan allowance is always spent first, so buying credit never costs you capacity you had already paid for.

Automatic top-ups. You can switch on automatic top-ups, which charge your saved payment method when your AI budget runs out so work in progress does not stop. It is off unless you turn it on, you set the amount, and you can turn it off at any time.

Refunds on credit. On plans that include it, you can ask for a refund of purchased credit you have not spent. Credit that has already been spent on AI work is not refundable, because the work was done.

Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers. Prices are exclusive of any tax we are required to add. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing prices.

If a payment fails, we retry over the following week and email you about it. If it still has not gone through after those attempts, the subscription ends and your account moves to the free plan. Any sites beyond what the free plan allows are taken offline, oldest first — taken offline, not deleted. Your sites, your content and your data stay in your account, and paying again brings them back in the reverse order.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of section 6 or where we are legally required to. Non-payment is handled the way section 11 describes — sites go offline, nothing is destroyed — rather than by closing the account.

Except where content was removed for a section 6 breach, you get a reasonable window to export your data before it is deleted.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
